Characters With Turkeys on Their Heads in Films and Television

I have to confess, this is silly. So what? Life is silly, and the turkey is the perfect vehicle for pointing this out.

Merry Christmas, Mr Bean - Mr Bean with turkey stuck on his head
    Mr Bean (ITV, 1990-1995)

"Merry Christmas, Mr Bean" (25 December 1992)
Mr Bean is entertaining his girlfriend, Irma Gobb (Matilda Ziegler) for the Holiday. While stuffing the turkey, he loses his watch. Suspecting the watch is inside the turkey, he goes searching, first with a flashlight then, naturally, by sticking his head inside. Meanwhile, Irma arrives and he lets her in, hiding the turkey (still on his head) with a towel. The towel soon falls off, but Irma is busy getting ready and doesn't see him in the background. "Do you need any help," she asks? "Have you got the turkey on?"
Bean The Movie - Mr Bean with turkey stuck on his head
    Bean: The Movie (1997)

Mr Bean (Rowan Atkinson) is a guest of Museum curator David Langley (Peter MacNicol) and his family, who believe he is Dr Bean, a world-famous art critic. With Mrs Langley gone (she can't deal with Dr Bean's eccentricities), and guests coming for dinner, Bean is in charge of cooking the turkey. In a direct quote from his earlier television turkey episode, he loses his watch and dives in, head first, looking for it. As Bean wanders throughout the kitchen and dining room, the guests -- George Grierson (Harris Yulin) and his wife Sylvia (Priscilla Shanks) -- are blissfully unaware, while Langley sees what's going on in helpless horror.
Third Rock from the Sun - Harry wears a turkey on his head
3rd Rock from the Sun (NBC, 1996-2001)

"Gobble, Gobble, Dick, Dick", 24 November 1996
Thanksgiving dinner is over, and the turkey has been devoured. Harry Solomon (French Stewart) and dinner guest Vicki Dubcek (Jan Hooks) are in the kitchen, and are clearly starting to get turned on by each other. In a tribute to the classic scene in Tom Jones (1963), Vicki and Harry begin eating bits of the leftovers, increasing the erotic innuendo with each bite. When Vicki starts munching on a turkey leg, Harry abandons caution and puts the entire carcass on his head. Vicki is beside herself . . .
Even Stevens - Heck of a Hannukah
    Even Stevens (Disney Channel, 1999-2003)

      "Heck of a Hannukah", 1 December 2000
Louis Stevens (Shia Labeouf) gets a little confused in the kitchen and gives his family a Hannukah present they (presumably) don't expect.
Old Mother Hubbard (1935 Ub Iwerks ComiColor short)
Old Mother Hubbard (Ub Iwerks ComiColor short, 1935)

Apparently, getting one's head stuck in a turkey has a long, distinguished history. In this 1935 cartoon, Old Mother Hubbard's dog can't get anything to eat at home, so he goes to the King's kitchen, where he finds the cook has just prepared a turkey. The dog dives onto the platter, under the serving lid, and is revealed only when the cook presents the dish to the king. By then, the dog is well stuck into the turkey (figuratively and literally!).
